Perhaps the fact that the word "świat" [world] is contained within the word "światło" [light] is not without significance. The appearance of light in the world was fraught with consequences. What emerged together with light were mutually exclusive desires: the desire for shelter and the desire for recognition. Contradictions breed fear. Safe intimacy is replaced with conflict and struggle as a means of reaching out to the other.

AT THE BROKEN WING

Voices. One can hear voices, sometimes singing, but also moaning, sighing, uttering meaningless words. So, they are near, they are coming to act out their roles. Bodies are matter of this world. Transparent, twinkling, they emit light and sparkle in it. So they are, they will act and go, and then return and do the same. They make us look in wonder, notice details, follow this obligatory gymnastics of theirs with our eyes.
